Welcome to the 2025/2026 School Year!
Dear Mokelumne Hill Elementary Families,
Welcome to the 2025/2026 school year. Whether this is your first year with us, or you have been a member of our school community for a while, we are so grateful for the opportunity to help your child learn and grow.
At MHE we celebrate four main character traits: kindness, respect, responsibility and safety. These traits will be taught, modeled and recognized throughout the school year. Our school staff is committed to providing your student with the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment. We hope that if you have a question or concern that you will reach out to your child’s teacher to get the information or help that you need.
We have many opportunities for you to be involved at Mokelumne Hill Elementary School. Our parent group, “PIE” meets monthly via zoom, and plans fun events and fundraisers for our students. MHE’s School Site Council is composed of parents and staff whose primary responsibility is maintaining the School Site Plan for Student Achievement and allocating our site Title I funds to support student growth and achievement. If you would like to volunteer in your child’s classroom, please stop by the school office and pick up a volunteer packet.
We are committed to keeping you informed about your child’s progress, and notifying you about important events throughout the school year. Our most common form of communication for events, resources and important information is Class Dojo. Your classroom teacher will provide more information about signing up for the Class Dojo app. You may also receive important information through texts or emails from Infinite campus. A calendar of events is listed on the large envelope that your student will bring home each Tuesday. This envelope may also contain flyers and finished work. Each week, please review the contents of the envelope and return the empty envelope to school the next day.
Our staff is excited to welcome you to a great year of learning.
Thank you for your support of our school.
